The day after prom, many players on three hours sleep, the Warriors won their first sectional title in school history, defeating New Trier 4-2 in 10 innings Saturday morning at Niles West. Continue reading
The Payton girls have won two sectionals.
Now the Payton boys can say they’ve won one as well, as they captured their first boys volleyball sectional title Tuesday afternoon, defeating St. Patrick 25-11, 25-21 to win the Young Sectional. Continue reading

Young’s Okello Hope wanted to beat Lincoln Park bad. And he came out and showed it in the second Public League semifinal at Northside Wednesday afternoon. Hope had 12 kills to lead the Dolphins to a 25-14, 26-24 win over the Lions, avenging Young’s lone conference loss this season. Continue reading
