Harlan wins first sectional

A year after losing a heartbreaker to Simeon in the sectional final, Harlan was looking to make sure the same thing didn’t happen again. The Falcons prevailed, 7-5, over Jones to win the Class 3A St. Ignatius Sectional championship Saturday morning. The win marks the first sectional title in the program’s history. Continue reading →

Payton creates school history

A year after becoming the first boys athletic team in school history to qualify for the state finals, the Payton volleyball team became the first in any sport, boys or girls, to qualify in consecutive years. The Grizzlies accomplished the feat by defeating St. Patrick 25-23, 25-23 for the second straight year at the Young sectional Tuesday. Continue reading →
